Two art deco style bedside tables were purchased in Lisbon having no serious damages. They needed some cleaning and polishing despite the few signs of termites. Metal handles had to be cleaned as well.
Here it is represented one of the bedside tables.
Below are the images taken after the restoration process, which included: overall cleaning, adjusting the missing parts of veneer (on the left side of the drawer), sealing termite holes, cover with five layers of shellac, polishing the metal accessories.
